Default Facelift Fuel Tank Insulating Mat

1996 Jaguar XJS with the AJ16 engine.

So my tank is at the shop and it's out. The guy working on it says the foam insulating mat under the tank is completely saturated with fuel. Best to replace it. It is NLA, so I need something to replace it with. Does anyone know how thick that insulation is? I believe it's Part Number BEC15156

They're working on an alternative, but I thought I would reach out here and see if anyones already "been there and done that".

Thanks.

I suggest you find something that is non-absorbent like a fuel resistant rubber mat trimmed to fit.

That’s the idea. I’d use a polyurethane foam mat, I just need to know how thick it needs to be.
