Default Facelift Knee Bolster Passengers Side Clip

I've been hunting for a replacement clip for the knee bolster on the passengers side of the car. Part Number JEP113005.

I thought I found a matching part to a 1968-1972 Chevelle. It sure looked to be the part, but it isn't. It's too small.

The part I came across is 9508010 called a Console Clip, or Wiring Harness Clip.

If you need this part hoping it will work, it won't. Looks like I'll probably have to make one? How hard can it be....

https://www.jaguarclassicparts.com/uk/part/BD42805. Is this the part you are seeking? It is interchangeable with various Jaguar models.

If this is 1 of 2 that secure the top of the bolster to the dash facia, then I need one for my 96!

That would be most helpful!

(figured I'd post it here for all to see)

Dammit!! I posted the picture of the broken one. For the first picture, pretend the metal bends back 360 degrees and comes back, parallel to the tape measure at that part that bends closest to the tape. (Does that make sense?) The part furthest away from the tape is fine, the part closest to the tape broke off.

That's the one that I have broken also. Any idea of the part #? Also, I'd be interested in 2 if you have more than the one for Vee.

It's in my original post, "Part Number JEP113005."

I had a problem with the knee bolster panal falling down and hitting me in the shins and it did hurt. The thing just would not stay up. I figured it would be impossible to find replacement clips so I cut a strip of tire inner tube rubber and placed in in the opening of the clip and pushed the panel into position. So far it has stayed where it belongs.

If you’re talking about the drivers side knee bolster after trying all kinds of solutions, I found that by loosening the plastic clips just enough to move if needed to, they ended aligning themselves just right to grab on to the metal bar and not let go….in months now.

Do you know what they call this type of clip? Do you still have any?
