First Jag
Just picked up my first Jag, a 1995 XJS 4.0 2+2 convertible with 105,000 miles. I'm very impressed with the overall condition. Someone REALLY took good care of this car. It's going to be my DD, so I can garage my Shelby that I've been using every day.
The only items I need to look at are: the car seems to have some vague steering, and it's got a bit of a floating ride, and a bit too much nose dive on braking. Probably nothing that a set of shocks, tie rods, and some bushings won't take care of.

Picked it up off of Amwiler and Peachtree Industrial. Pretty cool little dealership over there.
I kept telling them I would take one for the team and trade them straight up, my Shelby for the F355 they had over there. They were having none of it....
I think there was a black '93 or '94 at Marietta Sportscar. That one was already gone by the time I called.

Great looking car. There are still a few really nice time warp cars out there, but they are getting harder and harder to find. I reckon a car like yours should hold its value now as long as you take care of it. With 2 really cool cars, shouldn't you keep them both in the garage and buy a third car as a daily driver ?!

Congratulations for your new Jaguar. Rather than trying to sell me any old car, the car dealership I headed to make sure they were really meeting my requirements. I love it when salespeople really listen to what I have to say rather than attempting to sell me whatever is on the lot. All the dealerships are really good like that on a site I came across.
