Default Fitting tips for upper injector ring?

hi there,

I'm redoing all rubbers in and around my engine and need to fit some new upper rubber mounting rings found on all 12 injectors.

Is there a 'trick' to fit them? Mine don't budge any further than the center dent/rut in the injector itself... Too low to fit properly...

Any tips or tricks?

Cheers!

Btw. clean intakes fitted to a clean engine look great!

I tried exactly that but no success... It gets caught on the upper injector edge...

I use copious amounts of silicone spray.

Very sore fingers when the 12 are done no matter what.

Done all twelve... Was easier if you have the right stuff...

1. some insulating tape
2. some liquid soap
3. some rubber gloves

Wrap the insulating tape around the upper section of the injector.
Smudge some soap around the inner surface of the rubber ring.
Push metal ring on and then carefully wedge the rubber ring up.
Done.

Not much force needed. And when dry, it won't come loose

Took 10 minutes last night
