Default Fog lights

One of the last pieces to get working.

I have tested the relay and power to the violet socket on the left component panel. All checks out fine.

So now I need to find the Sumitomo 18 pin block where it leads to the left front wing. Ive stuck my head up as far as I can inside the drivers footwell, but cannot see it.

The wiring diagram does not show any other connectors in the circuit.

Has anyone traced the wiring for these from the bumper to the firewall? If so, are there other connectors that I should check?

Cheers

What year is your car?

Some of the later cars had a 'shorting' plug in the fog lamp circuit that has confounded many owners. I've never had to face the problem so I'm no help in particular. But if you search 'fog lamp shorting plug' you might pick up some clues.

Have the fog lights ever worked?

Cheers
DD

Ive read through a couple of the threads. Mine came fitted with the lights, soI already have both font and rear switches. The fog lights worked before my accident. At least I think the did..
