Default Fuel Tank Sender Install
I am trying to replace my fuel tank sender (85 XJS) I seem to keep hitting a brace in the fuel tank and the sender only half works. Up to half tank. Whats the trick to this? Thanks

I seem to recall that there is a baffle plate across the centre of the tank and I had to turn the sender sideways to get it through then twist it back again to drop down.
