Cannot figure out the correct fuse sizes for the fuse box under the console on the driver's side. Nor can I locate what size fuses should be in each slot of the two rows. Should be the same on all XJS in 89 ??

I don't know about the '89 Ken. But it should be in the handbook if you have one. I never understand why that's the first thing many people 'lose' and don't pass on to the new owner.

Well, I'll be !!!! Have pretty much all of the manuals, repair manuals, parts catalogs, discs, etc and it did not occur to me to look in the dog gone Drivers Handbook !!! Yep, that's where they are listed !!! Thanks for your pointer !!!
BTW, you really can't be too grumpy to work on these as I have found out years ago that you have to have a sense of humor in order to accomplish the things we have to do to keep these classics going !!! I'm 73, retired military, Nam Vet, shot down 3 times, shot up, f$%^ed up, but, on the bright side, I am still on the green side !!!
Rebuilt the rear end a few years ago on my cat, last winter, did the power steering system, and was the "Best in Class" at the Pittsburgh Car Show a few weeks ago. Also have a 78 MB 450SL but the Jag is 10 times better !!!
