Halo quad headlamp conversion

Halo quad headlamp conversion
I recently purchased the four replacement headlamps that converts the existing sealed beam to the LED halo stlyle with replacable H4 bulbs.
I was wondering if anyone has swapped these out yet. My car is dismantled right now being painted so I know there is no major modifications necessary to fit deeper bulb, only a small notch to allow wires for LED halo to fit properly. I'm going to wire them to stay on as DRL with a switch under the dash. I may also loose the factory driving lights for a sleeker LED style.
I tried out the LED protion and it looks really amazing.

Hopefully they are bright. All I can think of is LED flashlights which almost everyone I have tried is not nearly as bright as a normal flashlight. I did see one that was very bright but the guy who owned said it cost nearly $350.
Although with all the voltage drop in the lighting circuit on the XJS it would be hard to be dimmer than stock headlamps. The LEDs should have less voltage drop which will help be brighter too.

Bought from chevyracer on eBay. They use a standard H4 plugi-n hallogen bulb for the actual functioning headlamps. The LED is only the outer halo ring, similar to a newer BMW. I do have to cut a small notch to allow the LED wiring to clear the retaining ring but I plan to add a switch to turn them off if I don't want them on.
Basically, unless the LED rings are on, they will look like "regular" bulbs, just a little newer.
