Default Handbooks and instructions for 1995 XJS 4.0 Celebration

Hi All,

I have just bought a 1995 XJS 4.0 Celebration but it came without handbooks - does anyone know where I could get these?

Failing that I would be grateful if someone could give me some indication how to use the heating and how to close the bonnet.

Thanks in advance

Hi Paul,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

I'm a bit new to these forums, what does 'PM sent to you.' mean?

Check eBay for the books, they are on sale every now and again.

For the heater... the left knob works the temperature.
The slide on top affects the dashboard level vents. You can have hot air on your feet and cooler air on your face, if desired.
If you press the MANUAL button on the right hand side so that the red light is on, then it should blow a steady stream of tempered air, depending on where the temp is set. With it off, it should automatically adjust as the car gets warm inside.

Does that make sense?

If you press the AC button so it lights up, you add the benefit of having a compressor help heat the air.

Sorry,

I've sent a "Private Message" to you. If you look near top right of the page, you should see "Private Messages" highlighted. Click on it and you should get to the message section.

Cheers

Hi Christian,

Click on your own userid in top right by "Welcome". You should then be able to see the "conversation" with me and my number.

Cheers
