Default A happy fix!

I was stressing over a power steering leak. All winter I said I'll deal with it in the spring. I changed all the belts, it took me a long time to do that job, the car was parked outside for 10 years, you can imagine what the nuts and bolts were like. The leak was from a dry rotted belt that was slipping like crazy. New belts, no more leak. I guess it was bubbling up and leaking from the cap. I'm not sure, all I know is there is no fluid on the garage floor, and its been about 3 weeks.

@mtr

Another thing checked off the list :-) Plenty more to go I am sure.

I have not (yet) had power steering fluid on my garage floor, but I have had engine oil, water, and trans fluid. Hopefully when I get it back this week the trans fluid will be gone.... can't guarantee about the oil thoughl

It's good to see a sense of humor, while going through this stuff.
