Made it round trip to Charlotte, NC (650+) this past weekend without a single issue of any kind. Everything worked flawlessly. Go ahead, call me a liar :-)

Nope, won't call you a liar :-)
I had an XJS for several years during a period that I did lots of travelling. I can remember many weekends that I'd knock off 600-700 miles with nary a glitch or hiccup
