So I have a 1995 XJS, which has the newer version headlamp style. What I wondering is if anyone has attempted to replace the housing and lens with the older style that held in the sealed beam bulbs? I like the look of that style better than what mine has, and wasn't sure if the housings would fit. Say one from an 1988 or 89?

Any help or ideas would be excellent!!

 

search around on the forum. there are several on here who have done the change, which should be a more-or-less direct fit. check out the details on the driving/parking lights.

and... i just pmmed you about making a swap for the quad set up currently on my '91.
