Anybody out there know anything about replacing a convertible top? I could use some tips if there are anythings to watch out for or know before starting. I'm a pretty good problem solver so I think I can handle this project but I'm not sure if I need to have the headliner also during the switch or can it be installed later with no problem? I replaced the headliner on my conv myself. I did not take the top off..... just did everything from the inside. It was not a fun job. If you are going to do the outer top, do the headliner as well while the outer top is off. The headliners are pretty cheap...... $150 or so from ebay. Although there are step by step instructions in the ROM for removing the top, it looked pretty daunting, but if you do decide to go ahead, take some pics and share your experience with us !
