Hi, I am new to this forum and I would like some help with my 1987 Xjs.

I need some assistance with the master brake cylinder, which as seized up. Do any other cars share the same master cylinder as the XJS?

I would also like assistance with the water pump which has seized up.

Master cylinder is Jag model specific. Being a 1987 it will be Pre ABS, so simple enough. I am concerned for the rest of the system, as the seizure is probably from moisture contaminated fluid, and that will through the whole system.

I will assume you have a V12? The water pump is also simple enough, very time consuming, and a lot of "while I am in here" items that will need attention.
