Default Hopelessly in Love with my xjs

I have been trying to convince myself, the XJS v12 is just another automobile but it is not working. After fifty years of driving many vehicles, the XJS V12 really does grow on you and I must admit, I believe I am hopelessly in love with this car. Drop the top, turn on Pavarotti / Domingo/Carreras and enjoy the feel of a true piece of craftsmanship. I totally and absolutely look forward starting it tomorrow. I am sure, I am not alone.

Agree with you on that Chris!

I never want to drive another Car, I'm head over heels in love with my XJS and if I could get her in the house, then I would sleep in her.

Every time I start her up, its a total thrill! nothing comes close to the pleasure I get from this Car.

Even if it does cost me an absolute Fortune to run!

Oh yes, agreed.
I just used the word "enthralled" in another post.
The ride, the looks, the smell of the leather, I'm hooked.....summer is waaaaay too short!

Bill

P.S. I'm a little partial to Otis Redding, Tom Waits and RJD2.

No truer words spoken. I personally have never felt this attraction to a real automobile thoroughbred. The XJS V12 has the sleek lines of a class horse at the Kentucky Derby and has the motor to back it up. Nirvana, simply nirvana.

Hi Chris

I often have a drive to the Marina, where I park overlooking the Waterside, while Chilling out with a Flask of Tea and Fried Chicken.

As I look in the mirror, at the people passing by, its then you start to realize, just what sort of 'head turner' this Car is.

Always reminds me of 'Wimbledon' where people are clicking their necks in all directions to Watch the Ball.

There's no doubt about it, this Car is the 'Love of my Life!'

Keep the Countach /Ferrari / Maserati. I will take a well maintained Jaguar XJS V12 convertible any day over the above three automobiles.

I have to agree. Love the car. Ive had tons of cars over the last 35 years. 69 Mach 1. Superbee. Demons and so on and so on. Some really nice cars. I have to admit that my XJS is the first car I ever dried with a towel. After-all car don't like to be wet.

So much fun to read this thread. I'm in love with mine too. There's never been a more beautiful car made. I can't stop looking at it; whether it's just sitting in my garage or parked somewhere. And it's as beautiful inside and out. A lot of other people must think so too because almost every time I drive it, I get lots of thumbs up and nice compliments. An amazing car!!
