How does V12 in XKE compare to V12 in XJS (pre-Marelli)?

I for one am interested. One could say the same about the entire XJS forum, let alone selecting the individual contributions from forum members, which, as we all get older, can be justly accused of the same sin, let alone repetition.

Yeah, when I first got my XJS and took it out for a spin, I didn't realize I was going 125 till I looked down at the speedometer. It felt more composed and quieter than my daily driver '06 Volvo S60 does at like 70.

I’m currently building a racing XJS a tribute to Group 44 for Vintage racing. So I’ll get first hand experience. Fortunately Tullus was real open about details. Plus it’s remarkably straight forward. No fancy relocated suspension pick up points. Just stiffer springs and sway bars.

Fenders from the original Group 44 molds.
