Give us a clue, what car have you got? Could be a multi CD player?

I suppose where you have posted it is a bit of a clue! DOH!

That space in my 91 (92 my) has the alarm boxes in. all plugs into that big connecter. siren bits inside the left front wing (fender) was an extra option then.

do you have remote locking, anything plugged into that big connecter ? the radio antenna is just in the same place not connected to the alarm. coax cable is for remote locking (on mine)

The power antenna unit should be mounted on that brass-coloured bracket. The green relay in your photo is the antenna relay (delayed retraction when you turn off) which runs off that 10A fuse also visible in the photo. I guess you don't have a power antenna. I'm basing all this on my 92 coupe.

Maybe I misunderstood the problem...that big connector is hanging empty on my coupe too. Nothing is missing.

Mark,
Did you read my posts above....?
Your electric antenna is missing and the white connecting block and black plug are for the xjs 1992 my security system factory alarm, remote door lock controller that was fitted to the facelift '92 my. I fitted the kit myself as wanted the remote doors. Just plugs in.......see link l posted above.

I would post a photo if only l could.........Damm, hate being over 12
