Hello,

What is this being used for? There are two of those straps in the back.

This hose exits in the rear right trunk side

and just dangles around. What should it be connected to?

Thanks, Mark

Don't know what the strap is for but the hose is a drain for the boot lip, There is a drain above the fuel tank just to the right of the boot hinge.

There is a drain on the other side as well that drains the fuel filler nook and the boot make sure these are connected and clean, this is one major cause of rust in the lower sills.

The strap in pic 1 is used to keep the top boot cover in place. the top boot cover has 2 metal hoops that you put underneath this strip, one per side, then clip the straps in place on each side.

This prevents air getting underneath the top boot cover and wafting about at speed
