Injector caps - sold anywhere separately?

Hi,

As I tried to install my injectors, I noticed that one was missing. It was on as I removed them and is now gone (not in engine!).

Are they available individually? I went to my local Bosch service station and they said remove it and done... I don't trust that, as if they weren't important, they wouldn't have been fitted...

Any ideas or tips? They are for an HE V12 with Marelli Ignition (incase different)

I would agree with that first opinion. I tried mine with, and without, as far as spray. I think more than anything, it protects the injector "needle"? until it is installed. Once installed, I can't see that it does much of anything.
