Hey! Does anyone have any experience with universal key fob kits and installing them in a Jag? I've been looking online and I haven't really found anything that looks of any sort of quality. Also where would you splice in the receiver?I am guessing you'd need a constant 12v and it would send an intermittent 12v to some locking system relay. Anyone know where this would be?

 

I've done 'em on 3 Jags and had good luck with AudioVox and Bulldog remote keyless systems.

Intallation is pretty straightforward. In essence the remote system is wired to trigger the "lock" relay or the "unlock" relay, as needed.

There is some variance between different kits but I think any of them would work. If you get jammed up we can help you.
