i re-installed the oem radio but now the instrument panel will not illuminate nor will the parking lights turn on. not sure what to do

does anyone have suggestions. r

mine was a relay under the hood.. I removed all my relays, used a product called DeOxIt and cleaned all the connections.. replaced and everything works great.

 

Do you know what relay under the hood controls the instrument lights?

 

off the top of my head, no.. however there is a bank of relays on the driver side fender that are Blue, they all get gunk up in them. I cleaned them all and solved a few problems like the instrument lights.

Mine is a 6Cyl model though so yours may be in a different location.
