Spoke with the mechanic today that has the '90 Coupe in the shop for a major tune-up and complete front end rebuild. Wanted to see how it was coming along because I want to drive it to get my new addition next weekend ('90 convertible). Coming along right on schedule, he says.

So I asked him how we're doing cost-wise. He confidently said, "Real good... should be right around $5500".

$5500 is 'real good'? Maybe to send his kid to Harvard. Then I have to bring the new convertible to him for god knows what.

My brain and I are no longer on speaking terms.

The falling out happened when my brain said, "So, now that you've just gotten another XJS V12, whats the first thing your going to do?"

And I answered, "Start looking for the next one?"

My brain immediately left and filed for divorce. It also sued for custody of the wallet. This could get ugly.
