Jaguar seat control module
hi, we have no mirror or seat movement LHS
Jaguar XJS 4.0l 1995 Convertible chassis ending 199353
We've taken the control module out and cleaned all contacts but still we have no function
Question
Can you swop sides passenger to drivers and test for movement to confirm module is dead
Does anybody have a module for sale, part number LHB2165AA

I think the modules are connectable but the functionality might be limited.
Did you try swapping the door controls?
I might have one of those modules in my spares bins.
Definitely have the door controllers.
PM me for requests or questions.

Jag06530,
Does the passenger mirror work? The drivers module controls both mirrors. So if the passenger mirror works then that might imply it's not the module at fault.
The modules are directly interchangeable side to side because the drivers module controls much more as you can see detailed in the electrical diagram.
I guess it's possible but it seems unlikely for the whole module to fail, unless it's had water damage. I would start by back probing the plugs whilst in situ and confirm that you have power and earth on the relevant terminals
Good luck
Paul
