Exclamation Jaguar XJ-S colour: PHD and Crimson arre the same?

I requested and received Jaguar Heritage Certificate for my 1988 XJ-S coupé.
I am surprised by the fact that in the certificate is written Crimson colour while on the plate of the car is reported PHD. Is PHD acronymous of Crimson? Are they synonimous of black? Is there an official document with the list of colours per model and year?
Thanks

I think PDH paint Code Black. Crimson has paint code CEV and is dark red.

There was a few codes for crimson in the late 80's. CEV, CFF CFE is Crimson pearl.

PDH is black, PHD is not listed as a valid code.

Here is a good list of paint codes: Jaguar Paint Codes | Xclusively Jaguar

Effectively I made a typing mistake, the code reported in the car is PDH (and the car is black!), but how is possibile that in the Heritage certificate is reported Crimson (dark red)?

The British Museum re-issued a new Heritage certificate with the right numbers and colour!
