Can someone please help me how best can I install a new Jaguar speedo transducer part number DAC 4569 to my 1984 XJS v12 2 door coupe ? I have the new part ready to fit,

Many threads in the XJS section on this, BUT.

Raise the beast, and safety stand it.
Slide under the LH side, and look at the rear side of the transmission housing, up and above the edge of the pan.
There it is.
Undo the large nut, forgot the size, but you got a new one in the other hand to measure, and trace the wires to the 2 wire connector about 6" away.
Carefully line up the square peg with the square hole, and slide the new one on, and tighten the nut (NOT stupid tight please).
Plug in the connector.
Slide out, lower the Beast, drink beer.
