I'd recommend two more gifts:

1: a jerry can of fuel
2: a lighter or so machen

The can for when the car runs. The lighter for when it doesn't

 

I haven't thought of using a syringe for PAS fluid. I'm using a funnel and does always spill. It's actually the only fluid I have to top up, and my piece of cardboard tells me fluid is lost at the pump...
