has anyone lowered a 96 or similar xjs with the 4.0L aj16? I've been searchin for springs and can't find any, any ideas?

 

I was wondering the same thing for my 90 conv.

 

I found a UK company called AVO that makes a spring set for the 12 and cyl cars, I'm trying to do some research on this company and see if I can find any reviews so I'll let everyone know, oh they're retailing for about 170 british pounds which translates into 240 usd ish.

 

I found a shop in baltimore, md that is willing to make some custom springs for the 1996 XJS 4.0L but they need a car there or a set of stock springs to work off of, is there anyone in the area willing to do this? Or someone with an extra set of stock springs siting around?

 

hey hyper xjs out of the UK makes a set of springs/shocks to lower the 6 cyl about 30 mm. anybody ever used anything from this company or have any opinions on this? yet again they're about 770 pounds or 1120 usd
