Maybe a crap out, exhaust pipeing.

Can I get away with using, stainless flex pipe for my over axel pipes?

personally i don't like those and you would probably need additional hangers to secure it.

just my 2 cents.

Go under, there is plenty of clearance on stock XJS.
I hate seeing exhaust pipes next to brake calipers...
