Default Miss my XJS

As some of you know, sold my 86 3.6 a couple of months back, now want another one.. Unfortunatly circumstances just now means I have to wait (unless payment option include weekly instalments!!) + (seen a lovely 4.0l facelift model on ebay UK which looks in nice condition). Just wanted to say that I keep coming back here reading all your threads and picking up valuable tips for when (if) I get my next big cat.

Keep up the good work.

Mark

When you do make the leap, what do you want your new XJS to have that your last one didn't?

Hi Mkii,

Nothing really - my last one was pretty much ideal. Was only sold due to a tight financial situation. Like the look of the AJ16, and even though I prefer the rear end of the non face lift models, I do prefer the side profile of the newer cars (no front qtr window that makes the mirrors difficult to see).
As long as I can find a solid rust free car, I can do the mechanicals myself mostly.

That quarterlight was a big deal for me as I nearly always have the driver's window fully open and arm out.
