I've been stripping out the interior or my '93 XJR-S. (TWR version of XJS) The leather definitely is cream (as indicated on the door jam -NDR) but I noticed 'doeskin' written on one of the seatbelt clasp housings ... and the carpeting isn't cream. I suspect at some point, someone might have replaced the carpet although it seems to be original Jaguar and (UGH) is glued into place. Plan is to replace carpeting and give the now-remove leather a thorough conditioning and cleaning. Also would like to replace the carpet but I'm wondering if the XJR-S interiors would have been a single color and not mixed as this one is.

 

Found the info in the XJR-S documentation. Red XJR-S used cream leather with coffee carpeting. So my carpets probably are original
