My 1996 XJS
Thought I post a iPhone photo or two of my Jaguar XJS 1996.
Don't post much on this forum but I love my Jag.

Wonderful XJS, David.
The color is very rare; I've seldom seen it in pictures but never "in person".
Because of the light interior color, I bet your XJS looks phenomenal with the top down, as the exterior and interior tones combine for a very eye catching combo and a sunny day can only help....
Enjoy it. Cheers!

From the history I got from the previous owner. He bought it from a rookie NFL player who got signed by the Miami Dolphins in Florida back in the day. He had the Jaguar dealer order his XJS special order with matching Miami Dolphin paint. This what I was told. The previous owner bought it from the NFL player and later moved to North Texas. Where my mom bought the car.
My mom can no longer drive due to her age. I took ownership of this beautiful vehicle a year ago, and we just had a bunch of work done since it hasn't been driven in over 3-4 years. Its running great now. The summer temps are so hot in July and August temperatures in the 100's. That why I have the top up. Waiting for October to arrive.
This car would not pass the Texas inspection due to emission sensors would not working. 3 sensors gave no response to the computer so I had to get a special waiver by the Texas Dept of Public Safety motor inspections. Talk about a fun 3 hours while they do there thing. Long story short. Its legal and hope these emission sensors eventually get working by next inspection.

Nice car! At first I thought the color was like mine, Kingfisher Blue, which was offered in the mid-90s, and I thought it you might have it protected with a synthetic wax which tends to lighten the color a little vs carnuaba, but it sounds like you have a special order paint. In any event, your car looks great!
