Default Is this my throttle kickdown switch? & 2 others

Hi there,

I think my throttle kick down switch casing is broken and needs to be replaced. I also noticed the blue wired gizmo looks like it needs to be replaced as well. It's wires look a bit cooked. And... the third bit hangs just below the throttle assembly toward the back of the motor - has a couple loose ends - should I fret where to connect them to?What are they?

#1 is the throttle actuated enrichment switch

#2 looks like the vacuum actuated enrichment switch. Is is to the right and slightly aft of the the throttle capstan? If so, that's what it is

#3 not sure. What are the numbers on the widget?

Cheers

Both do the same job.....enrich the mixture about 10-13%..... but differently.

#1 is mechanically operated off the throttle capstan. #2 is vacuum operated. It's just a redundant arrangement.

Parts catalog simply calls it a "Solenoid Valve". It is part of the complicated vacuum advance system. I can't remember the exact function
