Have you checked your parking lights? I have the RH one out and you do not notice it with the headlights on but it turns the bulb failure lamp on.

Have you replaced any bulbs recently? I've seen this happen if one bulb is a different wattage than the others.
Could also be corrosion in the bulb sockets.
I believe the warning light comes on if it detects an unbalanced condition (eg. bulb out, wrong wattage)

no i haven't changed any recently. I remember walking around the car and not seeing anything but i guess its worth another look..i really hate dash lights, not only is something wrong with the car but i hate how bright they are at night. my right side reverse light keeps popping out of place but its never made that dash light go off
