Mystery wire / Panel fastener

Mystery wire / Panel fastener
The headliner on my 95 v12 is loose in the back passenger side and has exposed a mystery pink wire.
I have 2 sets of questions :-
1) What is the pink wire for? Does it matter that its just floating around behind the headliner?
2) What do you call the black fastener that is supposed to hold that bit of paneling to the body? Mine is stripped and I need to find another. Any suggestions for a good supplier of trim parts?
Please see pics.
Thanks

The light does not work but it does have 2 wires securely positioned where they (appear to ) belong.
None of the internal "vanity" lights work. ie Internal lighting and vanity mirror. I'm going to change all the fuses I can find as soon as I figure out how to access the fuse box rumored to be under the passenger side airbag.
Thanks for the correct term for Christmas Tree Fastener.

hmmm, not familiar with the facelifted models. Is your defroster for the rear window plugged in?
no fuse panel would literally be under the airbag. It was probably just described to you poorly. Just check around the dash area underneath for a panel to remove. Some cars have to have the glove box removed but again I am not familiar with the facelift cars, if their glovebox is like the earlier ones then it isn't removable and there is a panel that is removed underneath just like on the drivers side.
