Default Need some suggestions -- 1990 XJS Fog Lights

Good afternoon. I am new to Jaguar, so be gentle. The fog/driving lights on my 1990 XJS just stopped working after I replaced a lens on one side and put in a new bulb on the other side. Good times.

They were working right before I started working on them. Any ideas on where to start looking for the issue. The headlights and side markers work, no problem. Short in the wiring? Just fantastic mechanical magical touch on my part?

What do you think?

Check the fuse first it's in the main fuse panel under the steering wheel, there is also a relay it's top right on the component panel also under the steering wheel.

Following that I would check the connectors.

Thanks for the feedback. I have replaced the fuse and cleaned the connectors. How do I check if the relay is working?

When you switch the fogs on does the relay click?

If not check for 12volts on pin 85 of the relay, when I looked at the circuit I looked at the 89 I have now checked the 1990 and there is a shorting plug with a diode in it, I have no idea where it is.

Do you have a digital meter with Diode test function?
