Default New Carpets?

I've been doing some "restoring" on my 95 2+2, new seat covers, paint less dent removal, thinking about getting the paint buffed in the spring. The next big thing though is carpets. They are a bit stained and worn through in some places. The dollars are starting to pile up and I don't know how much more money I want to put into it. Research has shown me that a carpet set could cost me around $1,000.00. The other thing is how difficult would replacing them be? I think they are glued in. Would I need special glue if so? I don't see how the inside trim is removed either (ie. no screws holding the chrome door sills or counsel). Any advice?

I have the same wish - to replace all the carpets in my car. Were you able to find carpet set for your XJS?
Thank you.
