Polecat353 your XJS 4.0 is one fine automobile. Don't be afraid to drive it anytime, anywhere. In 5 years and 60,000 miles of daily commuting in Tampa rush hour traffic my '95 4.0 has not let me down once!

Thanks Roger. I'm in the process of inheriting an '88 (or possibly '87) XJ-SC V12 that has been in my dads garage since be stopped driving it about 10 years ago. He is the second owner and has owned it since the early 90's. I've been trying to pry it from his grasp and should hopefully have it in my garage in a few weeks. I'm pretty psyched as I have always loved this car, not to mention the memories I have had with it, learning how to drive, HS prom...etc. I hope to restore it to it's former glory. I'll put up a post with some pictures once I have it.
