Normal Alternator Voltage 90 V-12
My 90 has the Bosch Alternator. Even when the battery has a low charge, voltage never raises above 14v, just above the line separating discharge and charge on the barrel gauge. Alternator belt had too much slack, but has been tightened.
Is this a normal condition?

If you check it with a meter the Alternator should be somewhere around 14.4V when charging and 13.8V when not charging. These are approximate as the actual reading will vary a few hundred millivolts depending on the meter and other variables.
Yeah, sounds about right to me.
The dashboard gauges are not always as accurate or responsive as we'd like, but, still, I don't see anything to be concerned about in your case.
Cheers
