Wow! Not to sound stupid, but yeah, it REALLY must depend car to car! Lol! When I did mine, 93 4.0, I did it all from the top and yeah, it only took me about 10-15min to get mine back in and hooked up! I went the same route as you and had mine rebuilt by a local elections shop.
