after all my TLC on the 89 XJS I bought 5 or so years ago and painstakingly restored to its glory, I was in a freak accident without anyone in it. Insurance Company totaled my 89 XJS convertible. It “was” a show winner classic with Best in Class in Pittsburgh Concours 2 years ago. Except for front end and engine wiring, it’s great. Seats, etc. 52K on this classic that I have bought back and am going to part out. 2 set of tires.(5 wheels and rims each) One chrome lattice 235/r15/ with 800 miles the other set are 16” with chrome wheels. I will guarantee all parts sold. Everything original. Will only sell to the lower 48. Will only sell Pay Pal. Tell me what you want, make an offer and I will remove and ship to you. Shipping included. Please be responsible about your offers !! I will not give this stuff away and guarantee everything works for 90 days !! I rebuilt the brakes and rear calipers, transmission works fantastic as does the engine. Just too much front end body damage for me to restore at my tender age of 75 ! Plus I still have an 02 XKR !!

My condolences! Really sorry to hear such a nice example is lost. If I were nearby I'd pop over with a casserole and a bottle.

Thanks to all of you who have chimed in with your feelings about my loss. The good part is that I will be able to part it out for some $$ and add to what the insurance amount was and be able to find another while still driving my 02 XKR convert. Or will sell it also and buy a much newer model !!! Have not decided. Driving to NJ for Grand daughter's high school graduation and will have plenty of time to think it out !!! Stopping off on the way to deliver a fuel tank from my XJS pile of extra parts. Still will have 2 !! So I will have some room in the garage to sort extra spare parts !!!

this is the only damage and I have other normal bumpers and a good hood from other parts cars I have had. Still have an 89 coupe with a good body, no engine.
