I have all new rubber parts/mounts for the front subframe on order, either Metalastic, or other OEM.

What is annoying is that handfull of rubber parts cost about 12-15% of what i paid for the entire car.

I will deal with ball joints, and other metal stuff separately, if i need them, those things don't require SF removal to install.

Thanks to Greg for the UK parts vendor info.

Doug, t

That parts vendor IS Jaguar. You can order online for direct delivery or through any US Jaguar Dealer for collection.

If there are certain rubber parts that Jaguar do not still have, Jack Weston at Manners still has stock available of genuine Metalastik parts even if not in a Jaguar box.

Perhaps your car cost what it did because it needed all that stuff changed

Oh, I know it did.

When i test drove the car, which didn't run all that well, I got back and said "this car is a total piece pile of shiit." He laughed, i laughed, we both knew it was a POS. He pointed out the hacked off glove box door and said " I can't sell this car with that mess, but you are capable of fixing it." (I did)

I bought it with the expectation that it was going to need a new (Chevy) motor, and I knew other things needed work. I didn't know about the front bushings until i found that broken one, though. I don't think the seller knew about it either, as the car handles fine. I am proactively fixing it before more urethane parts start to fall off

I just didn't expect a complete rubber front bushing set to be ~$400 for OEM parts. Yeah, I could have gotten aftermarket repops for $100, but didn't want more disintegrating bushings.

When the car is done it will be a very reliable, nice driver.
