Default Oil seal track and water thrower removal - how to?

Hi All,
I am working on the rear suspension on my XJS.
I dismantled almost all hub and carrier pieces. I am stuck on the oil seal track ( C24791 ) and water thrower ( C20813 ).
I found tons of useful information how to press the carrier off the hub, bearings off the carrier and how to assemble everything together. But I could not find any trace of anyone having dealt with these two parts.
I am afraid that there is no other option than bend/brake the water thrower. Maybe you know a better solution?
Regards, W

That oil seal track/spacer is literally just sitting there. It’s not screwed in, press fit, or otherwise attached. Turn the while thing upside down and whack it with a hammer... maybe it will fall off.

I have given it a couple of upside down whacks. With no success. Anyone who could share experience? Maybe its only rust that holds it in place.
I doubt it is not pressed - it must be tight since the other side of the oil seal track is sealed. With seal on the outside and too much play on inside would not do much sense.
