Dear cat friends,

thanks to a stone my high beam head light is history. It is the inner light with a H1 lamp, the model is a Valeo (or Cibie) 082372 (or 3670048). It seems that they are difficult to get. Does anyone here in Europe have a spare one and is willing to sell it?

My cat would love to get its eye back.

There are a number of companies in the UK selling XJS twin headlight conversions such as fitted to your car. So I wouldn't think it be difficult to source a single lamp from these suppliers.

Try SNG Barratt, SC Parts or even Clarkes of Sussex.

Hi Paul,

these companies either sell - expensive - complete conversion kits (4 lamps plus brackets) or single lamps from different producers. The latter have diffusing lenses which look very different compared to the Valeo lense, i.e. a visual no go.

Go to Oscaro.com a French online parts supplier and order them. Common as muck and cheap in France.
