at long last, in an effort to give the xjs a bit of colour under the hood, I found a supply of authentic decals for the pressure caps, if any one is interested in detailing up this area of their jaguar, there is still some and other xjs ones available I believe that go on the front 1/4 light (hand brake instructions) and hood/bonnet instructions

 

Great job. It certainly will have been a big effort.

I've never had an XJS but it reminds me of the view under the bonnet of my XJ12.

Worth posting where you sourced the decals for other members wanting to add that finishing touch.
