Performance Boost for 4.0

Has anyone undertaken some mild improvements to the AJ16?

I don't want to build a street racer, just a little more punch to
it. I have the 5 degree advance bracket but everything else is
stock.

Without getting too deep into the engine, you could try freer flowing exhaust and air intake. Those might get you a couple of horses.

The bracket was on the car when I bought so I don't know what it was like before it was put on.
