So I have my jag running fairly well now. New plugs, cap, rotor and wires along with some other things.
The cars seems slow to me. Its not snappy at all really not much throttle response. Still starts up a little rough too, and again throttle isn't snappy there seems to be a lag like the engine needs to wind up.

So what may be the problem?

 

Do you have Lucas ignition? If so, have you checked if the vacuum advance is working? And that the mechanical advance isn't seized? Both common ailments
