Can I use this power steering fluid on my 1988 jaguar xjs 3.6?

Others here may have a different response but my answer based on experience over 40 years is to use only what the factory calls for and never anything with a leak additive unless you really have a leak that you don't have time to fix. Additives they use to plug up leaks are not what you want in an otherwise healthy pump unless your pump leaks, because it will shorten the life of the O-ring seals. Thicker viscosity oils and additives that expand your seals are nothing but a temporary fix where you are going to replace the pump anyway.

Dexron ATF is the factory recommendation. Why that over actual power steering fluid, I don't know. Anyhow, I use ATF and all's well.

Cheers
