Default Radiator insert nut?

So the banjo bolt "nut insert" I stripped attempting to put new copper washers in.

I have no idea what that's called. And where to find to solder a new one in.
Any ideas?

What I would try first is to identify the thread, then see if a thread insert (helicoil or similar type of thing) is available for that thread, then use the insert to restore the thread.

attempted to re-tapp and didn't work.
if I can find another one of these just to replace it with I'd be OK.

Retapping will not work, usually, because there is not enough metal there anymore to tap. That is why a thread insert is needed. It is pretty straightforward to do. for example:

I'm gonna try of if those.
The only thing I worry about is it sticking to far in there and causing the air bleed system to not work correctly.

Sticking the drill in too far will cause the radiator not to work properly if you go through the fins! FWIW, what I do in such circumstances is to measure the depth of the hole and then mark the drill bit with a bit of coloured tape round it a bit less deep, so when you are drilling you know when to stop. Ditto the tap, ditto the insert. The bleed system will not be affected by this procedure. Good luck!

as of typing this it's been three days since I put a Helli coil on the banjo receiving part of the bolT. and so far so good.

I also used these upgraded seals for the copper seals from XK's. these things are genius!!! and I noticed you don't have to compress them as crazy as the copper washers since their rubber sealed.

there also for the oil galley feeds up in the tappot blocks. .
