Default rare vintage horn button

Hello:

Does anyone know what steering wheel this horn button is for?

It has 68 mm diameter. I think it maybe can be for Nardi wheels, but I don't sure about Nardi horns diameter, maybe they are smaller. By other way, I know two Nardi horn models and both are different from this one.

Maybe for Momo wheel?

Nardi horns are like these ones. They've different desing, and very different rear contact too.

What I'm not sure is the Nardi button diameter, but I think is less than 68 mm.

So I'm confused about this button.

Well, I think is not for Nardi, not for Momo or any other non-OEM wheel....

This horn button maybe be from a old OEM Jaguar steering wheel, I suspect from a Mk2 or Mk10 saloon, or similar 60's model.

I think you are probably right about it being a mk2 or mk10. The XK120/150 had a similar button, but I believe it was bigger and had 2 gold rings.

Could even be a Mk1, or other contemporaries of Mk2, eg S Type etc. Definitely not E-Type nor later, such as catered for here on XJ-S forum. Suggest you post over in those early/mid '60s forums.

Cheers,

Ken
