Re wiring, cleaning and straghting under bonnent
Well, in November I decided to go thru the wiring under the hood (bonnet). along with getting the wires out of the V and re make a new injector harness. so one thing leads to another, so much grease and crude in the V and on the engine decided I am going to clean that, take off the front, put on new belts and hoses and clean as much of the engine I can while it is in the car. also putting in new(remanufactured) injectors and fuel rail, clean out the fuel tank this spring and blow and clean the fuel lines, and the sump. typical, start one task and get into doing others.
There are lots and lots of pics so here is a link to my FB page with them

Agreed.
Do it once, do it right. Get rid of all the possible known gremlins in one foul swoop.
All those "mechanics/experts" have left their trail, and once done, the reliability goes waaaaaaay up.
As Doug says many times, "to graze through this sort out task will take a lifetime", and he is spot on.

I will more than likely take them to the shop I use to get them and the valve covers cleaned, as for the hoses and wires, they are to be re routed as much as they can, I am also putting on new covering on the wires and am going to buy a heat shield tube covering for the hoses
